Getting glasses for the boys. Abby doesn't need glasses but she really liked trying them on!
Racing in the Latin memory work at CC...
Putting together a craft that shows the parts of the earth and the atmosphere...
Leida, a lady from our church, wanted to cut my hair. She started on Abby's first. She did a wonderful job, but she took a whole hour on Abby's hair and over TWO hours on mine. 😲 She does not speak much English, so that was fun. :)
We went to Clemson to see Karl and Lindsey lead worship for a Robby Dawkins event that the Futrells put on.
Nothing like getting to church on Sunday morning to find out that they are trimming the trees by the entrance!
Caleb's bear, Bobbes (as in "Hobbes" from Calvin and Hobbes) is always up to something. :) Kenton and Holly and the kids stopped in at our house on the way home from Florida (just for dinner), and Kenton brought us this honey. The next morning, I found Bobbes at the tables enjoying it.
CC group picture!
Identifying different kinds of rocks and minerals...
We took a trip to the zoo one more time before our yearly pass ran out. The lady who checked us in gave us wristbands. I was like, "What are these for?" She said, "Oh I thought you were premium pass members. Oh well, go ahead and use them!" So we got to do all the "extras" like ride the rides, feed the parakeets, do the rock climbing wall, etc.... all for no extra charge! :)
We had never actually seen a koala awake at the zoo before!
Playing in the water.... in March. I love winters/spring in South Carolina. :)
Mexican food after church. :) Charandas was a tradition with the Buchers for a while... the Buchers were gone, so we sent them this "Wish you were here!" selfie. :)
We had to move the Essentials class into the main building for a day because the CAB was being used. A little squished, but it worked!
"Faces of History" 2019. Micah was Augustus Caesar. No one else knew what anyone was. When we got there that night, there were two others in the exact same outfits. No one else was Augustus, but it was so funny to see the reactions on each of their faces when they saw each other.
It was pretty funny watching the audience too. :) Each kid would give a few facts about the person they had researched, and then everyone had to guess who they were.
Our fun backdrop was a hit. :)
Caleb making his amazing banana bread!
Superhero and princess day at CC. Batman and Superman evidently don't get along.
Me and my Foundations tutors...
Mary Alice is like a celebrity at CC!
Little friends!
"School pictures"
