July 2021

Photos from Maryland:

Baby ducks!

Jamison's patriotic headgear:

Caleb and Alex playing Monopoly.  As soon as they started trying to trade and wheel and deal, it reminded me of the old saying, "when an unstoppable force meets an unmovable object."  :)

We re-did a few of the classic pictures of Micah and Davis:

Abby wanted some pink hair chalk, so Kaitlyn obliged.

Her hair matched her shorts. :)

Such beautiful weather!

The 4th of July parade:

Doris and her big brother Carl

Dawson driving tractor with his girlfriend LeeAnna:

Becca learning how to milk a cow!  It was really more of just a photo op. :)

Kaitlyn and Abby matched Sunday morning:

Sunday lunch with the whole family.  Piper and Le'Ella were the stars of the show!

Le'Ella, two months old:

When I checked in with Ben back in SC to make sure he was surviving, he sent me the picture of his current dinner companions:

Proof that we left Maryland early to drive back to SC. :)  Sunrise!

Cross country farm breakfast the next day...

Everyone was glad to be back home with Dad!

Swimming at our community pool with Kate Thompson...

The playground near Grandma Kaufman's house:

How kids play on the playground these days... selfies! :)

Carroll Financial hosted a family night at Top Golf.

Racing us to the pool on his scooter:

Matchy-matchy at church:

Kid helping me decide on decor:

We had been so busy with the house stuff, we took an afternoon to go to Dave and Busters for some fun.  This one of the first times we didn't have to wear masks out in public again!

Fun at Fountain Park:

Micah and Ben decided to do a sprint race.  Ben surprisingly held his own!

Summer school at the library:

We decided to do a one-day trip to the beach.  We left early, got to Charleston around 11:00ish, set up a tent we bought, took DOWN the tent we bought before it blew away, and left again around 6:30, and then... what should have been a 3 hour trip turned into a 5 hour trip because of traffic and construction. We got home at midnight, full of salt and sand and exhausted.   We decided as much as we like the beach, we prefer to spend the night instead of cram it in!

Helping Bar move apartments (also while we were gone in Maryland):

Trying to put Dad's hair in a hairband (aka "woo woo"):

Anna Fichtinger hanging out with us one afternoon:

Brothers:

Abby as a cartoon.  Pretty cute in every picture!
