Nothing much happened in February. Lots of school and normality!
Caleb took the lenses out of some old sunglasses, and Abby adopted them as her "reading glasses". :)
I believe this was a Mandalorian costume Caleb created:
Deciding to work on some school on a Thursday night so Friday would be free. :)
The first time Caleb played the cajon at church with Ben and Micah:
My friend Althea sent me this awesome mug from Haiti! Fun fact: when I came home, as I was opening this box, Caleb showed me an envelope of money a friend had given us. He and some friends had built a wheelchair ramp for someone as a "kind deed," but the person insisted on paying them for it. So they decided to give the money to us for our adoption! It was $1,200! Another little reminder with the adoption that God always pays His bills. :)
Just a funny moment with Mojo, the neighborhood cat:
We decided to pack up all Abby's size 5 stuff to give to her little friend Anna. It was a little ridiculous to see HOW MANY CLOTHES Abby actually had! (Ironically, the vast majority of her clothes gets handed down to her from another friend named Anna.) :)
My azalea bush had one or two flowers blooms each week in February. I dont ever remember it doing that before!
A good day for flag football...
I had a Bible-reading buddy this morning...
A picture that just sums up Abby: a skirt over leggings, funs socks, a side ponytail, and a unicorn sticking out of her backpack!
The Buchers came to visit for the weekend! (At least Lindsey and the kids did while Karl was in New Hampshire.) Lindsey and Carrie and I had a really fantastic "ladies only" night where we ate Thai food and tried painting with watercolors. :)
The Dads and kids hung out at the Ziebers while Carrie, Lindsey, and I were at our house.
Fun art day at CC:
Kenton and Holly visited Mom and Dad in Florida, and then sent me this picture from the way back. This is midnight outside our house... we had no idea they had been there until a day later when Kenton sent me this picture!
The best part of February: We finally got a new van!!!! .Good bye to the old green pickle! We got a whopping $250 for trading it in. 😂
Trying to get the license plate off the green van. It ended up taking 45 minutes because the bolts were so rusted and they couldn't find new bolts that fit on the Odyssey. The old Pickle had to give us one last issue to deal with!
A new van meant we needed to make room in the garage so it would fit! And THAT meant rearranging and cleaning out the shed so we could put garage stuff in there! It was quite the task!
Before:
After: (Micah and Ben did a great job!)
The many fun expressions of Caleb:
We had a group of teens over. I think it was supposed to be a discussion about the Bible. But when I came home, I found them playing poker and video games! 😆
Caleb "helping" Ben at work. Notice the platter of cookies. :)
We also had another video call with M&M... we got to see them a little clearer in this video, but I still can't post pictures/videos to the internet yet. For most of the call, M-l just threw a toy over and over and over again. He would throw it, then crawl to get it. Eventually M-s would follow him. Then M-l would throw it again, crawl to get it, M-s would watch for a while and then follow. Except for the time the toy actually hit M-s in the head... then he howled for a second instead of following M-l around. :)
