Some of Abby's little friends at CC. They are all such girly-girls!
We made it a practice to get Jimmy John's after Caleb's early soccer game once a week. We would eat outside because everyone buy me left their masks in the van. One night it started POURING while we ate, so we all tried to huddle under the umbrella over the table. Ben held an extra umbrella over Abby and himself, but then Abby had to fed Ben so he could still hold the umbrella. 😅
A few shots of Caleb's soccer game... He doesn't ever want to play again, (too much running!) so this may be the only proof that he did indeed once play. :)
Abby's BFF at CC, Emma...
Kind of twinsies...
It only took a couple weeks from when Micah became as tall as me to when he became "DEFINITELY taller than me"...
When you play poker, you've got to fully play the part...
Abby being the sunglasses model to pick out sunglasses for Micah and Ben...
Playing in the rain one day at Grandma and Grandpa's house!
Our friends the Fichtingers are big Steelers fans. :) Caleb and Abe had a little showdown with their jackets...
Caleb's class at CC. All these pretty girls and Caleb. :) (There's usually one other boy in the class, but he was absent.)
Watching what we thought was going to be Chuckie's last football game. It was a real nail-biter, and Loudonville came back in the fourth quarter to beat the undefeated team. You know it's a good game when Ben watches on his feet!
We had some really pleasant weather for cross-country races in October...
Caleb's little reading fort at one of Micah's races...
Abby took her red chair and separated herself from us. I don't remember what she was pouting about, but it was pretty funny. :)
Abby and I hiked around the lake. We could see Caleb fishing and Ben and Micah playing football from the other side...
Leaves were just starting to turn mid-October...
At a Pathways fundraiser. The guest speaker was Ron Hall, one of the authors of "The Same Kind of Different As Me."
A day at Anne Springs Close Greenway means we should probably stop for really good ice cream on the way home. :)
The fisherman walk of shame... never even got a nibble! 😩
(My pictures downloaded backward. The pictures above were from the first time we went to Anne Springs Close. We accidentally ended up on one of the longest trails... 3 miles. Caleb was not amused. He also played his first soccer game that evening... he slept good that night!)
Football watching at the Kaufman's with the Ziebers...
He still fits in the little rocking chair! :)
Micah went to a Nerf war a party at a friend's house:
The Mandalorian is a show we watch on Disney Plus, and this "Baby Yoda Bop-It" was a hit!
We went out to eat at O-Charley's, but they were so understaffed that we waited forever for the food... and then forever for the waitress to bring silverware. Ben gave up and started eating his steak with his fingers. 😆
Megan posted this picture of my Dad when he shot his first bear...
Micah turned 14 on Tuesday, the 27th! Dad took him out to breakfast at the Rock Hill Diner, and they went golfing later that day. The Ziebers and Kaufmans came for dinner that night.
Micah brought in little snack cakes to CC the day after his birthday, AND I got to sub in his class! He was thrilled. 😄
Micah's 14th birthday "hang out" at our house on Friday...
Halloween candy party at the Thompson's house with friends. Most people dressed up, and then when it got dark, the Moms walked around the yard throwing candy on the ground. We gave the kids glowsticks and then they had to find the candy in the dark. Afterward, they all sat on the ground and bartered with one another...
Cleaning up leaves!
Where's Caleb?
October had some beautiful days! Ben and Abby liked to work outside together...
