Basketball season has started, and this is Caleb's first year playing. He knows he's a rock star. :) (At one point during his first game, he put his hands on his rear end and started wiggling his butt back and forth to the crowd. He got the laugh he was looking for. He also got scolded by his mother.) Micah is also playing again, and seems much more confident in his game this year.
Playing defense,Caleb knows which spot is his. He jumps on the box every time.
Not bad for the shortest kid...
Working out strategy with the "assistant coach"/big brother.
I've had this on my list to try almost every month, but this is the first time I actually took the kids (at least the younger two) to Home Depot's free kids' workshop day. They have a free kit for them to put together. This month, they made photo frame boxes. Both Abby and Caleb really loved it!
They liked hammering it together, but painting was probably Abby's favorite part.
Superbowl Party at the Lee's house. This is the kids' room where they watched Phineas and Ferb and Veggietales all night. The Patriots won in overtime in a huge comeback.
Sometimes when she answers a memory work question it just sounds so cute that I have to record it. :) "What's the difference between an acid and a base? An acid donates a hydrogen ion, and a base accepts a hydrogen ion."
