Christmas Lists

Grandma Bender already wants Christmas lists for the kids.  I keep an on-going list on my phone throughout the year.  (When we're at the store and the kids see something they want, or they play with a certain toy a lot at a friend's house, I write in down for ideas later.)  Since I thought I might like to look back some day at what the kids wanted when they were (almost) 8, 5, and 2 1/2, I'll put it here.  You're welcome Grandma. :)

The boys overlap a lot.  It mostly involves Legos and Superheros. :)  Micah loves science stuff too:

Lego table (I repent, Joyce Kaufman, for telling you "no" to this last year) :)
Magazine subscriptions (Caleb - Highlights?  Micah - a kid's science and/or history magazine... like National Geographic Kids or Discovery Kids or Ask or Ranger Rick)
Magnetic tiles or blocks for Caleb or Abby
A remote control snake for Micah (we saw one at the bookstore)
Optimus Prime Lego set (Caleb)
Lego set of any kind, especially sets based on "The Lego Movie" (Caleb has the "Melting Room" lego set and I'm getting Micah "Bad Cop's Pursuit" for his birthday)
The Lego Movie game for the Wii (Micah)
Electric Snap Circuits (Micah)
Zoobs (Micah or Caleb)
Melissa and Doug doctor costume (Abby or Caleb)
Flash superhero costume (Caleb)
Replacement stand for Micah's telescope.  At our new house, you can actually see stars!
Microscope for Micah
Electric Monopoly for Micah
Ohio state baseball hats for the boys
Movies (for boys): Hotel Transylvania, Mr. Peabody
Gift card to go to plays at the Imaginon in Charlotte or one of the many children's theaters around here
Steve Green's "Hide Them In Your Hearts" CDs (Caleb or Abby)
Gift cards to the Google Play store (so they can buy apps for the Ipad)
Kids' swivel chair from Ikea (probably blue for their room)

For Abby, everytime we are at the bookstore, she goes to this display of "girly things" and loads up on these purses that come with stuffed animals in them.  She loves the "puppy purses".  Also, there was a kitty lunchbox she loved.
She also LOVES colorful socks.  (She always picks out her Hello Kitty socks)
We discovered "Calico Critters" which I think she would love.  You can see my picture in my last post.  She loves anything cute, little, and especially animals.
A little table for her room (small, two seats)

That's all on my list for now!  Of course, the kids add to that daily :)
