December.... in totally mixed-up order 😒  (No videos added.... those are still in Google photos.)

We had a super-cold front at the end of December... like several days of temperatures in the teens, right after a bunch of rain, which is nuts for Rock Hill.  We heard a couple of these huge booms around dusk during that week and couldn't figure out what it was until I saw this post... it was rocks and ice breaking underground!  (Side note.... the winter of 2022-23 ended up having ZERO accumulated snowfall in Charlotte  area, which is super rare too.)

We went to the Shopes' house for cookie-making day.  I didn't realize HOW MANY people would be there, so the twins were a bit overwhelmed at first.  But they loved making the cookies!

They love being carried in these baby-carriers.  I had one, but they would cry and cry when I would take one out to give the other a turn... so I ended up buying another one so they could be carried at the same time.  THAT was a good workout!

Christmas morning was so much more fun with the twins! Christmas landed on a Sunday, so we had a service on Friday, December 23rd instead, and enjoyed all of Christmas Day at home! (The Kaufmans were supposed to come over, but Joyce got Covid and then sprained her ankle!)😟

We took care of the Ziebers' hermit crab while they were in Ohio.  M&M were fascinated by them!
