I threw a baby shower for my friend Ivonne, and her little baby Joaquin...
I made the cake. This was my first attempt at making a tall cake iced on the sides. It wasn't perfect, but it tasted good!
Playing volleyball and football at Confederate Park on Labor Day. Look at our cute little friend Hallelujah (Lulu):
And Talia and Hosanna.... Abby looks like she could be their sister. :) So much blonde hair, blue-eyed cuteness!
Abby loves doing the motions in her class at CC:
Our 14th Anniversary! The Ziebers kept our kids overnight. We drove up to the Whitewater Center (but found out the season had just ended and so there wasn't anyone there to watch in the water while we ate), then drove thorough downtown Charlotte trying to decide what to do next... then to Pineville for dessert. 14 years later, we still can't make decisions... but we still had fun! :)
Abby eagerly doing school. She loves to practice her reading...
Putting her numbers in order...
Micah's drawing of NYC... too bad it was with dry erase markers!
Woke up a little too early:
We went rollerskating on a homeschool day at Kate's Skate:
Caleb and Abby has never been skating before, and Micah had only gone once when he was very little, so it was an adventure! They couldn't stay up much, but they all still loved it!
Abby dancing with the older CC girls:
Work night/bonfire at the Santos' house:
Ben and the guys went to Vineyard Man Camp one weekend, and I took the kids to Kings' Mountain for a little festival they were having. Abby loved riding the shuttle from the parking place:
Making friendship bracelets:
Zuri and the Militia Men:
Science experiments with Ms. Jenna:
Caleb checking out his lung capacity:
During Essentials (Micah's afternoon class), Abby and Caleb play with their friends or keep themselves occupied in the back of the room:
Ever since the weekend with Robby Dawkins, Micah asks people if he can pray for them wherever we go. I saw him at the library talking to and praying for this lady...
Becca's birthday:
Matching friends:
Caleb turns 8!
We kept the Bucher kids all weekend while Karl and Lindsey were at a conference in California, so it worked out well for Caleb's birthday. We all went to see the Lego Ninjago movie.
We did a re-enactment of this picture from 3 years ago:
Spiderman outfit from Aunt Darlene:
A Harry Potter cake:
The Monday after Caleb's birthday we went to Sky High trampoline park. (Mondays are homeschool day which is MUCH cheaper than normal days.)
Micah reading his paper in Essentials:
Abby borrowed my phone during Essentials. Afterward, I found this cute selfie on it...
